Today Luke hit the 9-month mark, so I thought I would update Luke's blog. Watching Luke learn new things and gain more motor control reminds me so much of Tom. It is exciting to see Luke develop, but I have to say there are more than a few similarities between him and his daddy. Luke acts 100% like his dad and looks almost 100% like me. Here are a few of the "like father, like son" moments:
- They stick their tongues to the side of their mouths when they concentrate.
- They sigh the same way.
- They smile the same way.
- They are easily amused by lights and sounds.
- They make silly noises (clicking tongues, raspberries, etc.).
- And most of all, I love them both very much.
The month of September went by quickly for our family. We kept ourselves busy by attending every Pilot soccer game this season (so far) and celebrated two birthdays (Sophia is now 1 year old and Mark is 3!). Luke is on the move now, too. He displayed his scooting/crawling motion to his uncle Doug while videoconferencing with him last week. Enjoy the pictures!
